It was a refreshing email to receive. The invitation to preview the Reebok Classic Spring/Summer collection for 2016 was unanticipated and definitely welcome. For a change, I had absolutely no idea what to expect at the event, since Reebok was the brand to best occupy the wild card spot in my appreciation of sneakers.

When we walked into the spot, we were greeted by a room decked out in tones of white and black, which provided background for the shimmer of the wine glasses and silver balloons. At the forefront of the space, was a cordoned-off section with sneakers hanging from the ceiling at eye level. These were the new arrangements for SS16. We were not allowed to take pictures of the display, but let me just say, we are not ready! It was all so very choice and my eyes darted from one furious design to the next. Standing atop pedestals along the walls were the engaging pieces to make up Reebok Classic’s current lineup of offerings. From Ventilators to Pumps, from Lite to Woven, the old school, engrained quality melded with the sleek of new wave technology ensured that I was captivated and impressed throughout the show. Just one season away, my advice to you is to keep an eye on Reebok Classic and make some room in your rotation.
