As the car drove across the Williamsburg Bridge, all I could think about was the overwhelming breath that inspired New York City. It was the most organic of location choices to set up a shoot for the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Gum collection just in time for Spring/Summer ’17. In the face of a conquering task, engulfed by the thousands and thousands heartbeats and footsteps, I need only to look down at my feet to find the iconic silhouette in a gum sole iteration to ground me firmly and remind me that I was in the most welcome of settings, my element.
