Following the launch of the Tsugi Shinsei earlier in 2017, PUMA is continuing to push the envelope with the innovations in their lacing systems. The Tsugi Shinsei featured a new speed lacing system which ran along the side of the tongue, and with the brand new Tsugi NETFIT, they are introducing a brand new lacing system that offers countless customizable lacing options.
The PUMA Tsugi NETFIT features a side panel on both the medial and lateral sides which can be used to lace the sneakers in countless iterations. The side panels are completely netted, allowing for the lace to be looped through different locations and patterns. In addition to the NETFIT lacing system which allows for complete customization by the user, the Tsugi NETFIT also comes with three different laces: tonal round laces, tonal flat laces, and contrasting round laces.
In addition to the customizable lacing system, the Tsugi NETFIT features a mesh upper on top of PUMA’s IGNITE sole unit. The breathable mesh upper on this model differs from the Shinsei, as the latter model featured mesh only on the toes in combination with leather and EvoKNIT throughout the upper. The upper rests on a sole composed of PUMA’s IGNITE foam, providing optimal comfort and flexibility.
The PUMA Tsugi NETFIT is set to release on July 7th, 2017 at select retailers such as Livestock, as well as PUMA.ca for a retail price of $130 CAD.
