Converse x Don C “Animal” and “Metal” Collections

On the heels of Converse’s first style-driven collaboration with Don C on an ERX canvas this Fall, we are presented a second head-to-toe concepts featuring five new ERX iterations. Playing off the old school vibes and mixing in his modern streetwear design vibes, Don C offers two collections focusing on the ideals, “Animal” and “Metal”.

The “Animal” pack echoes the rivalry between predator and prey through the ERX 260 Mid. We are bestowed two classic leather colorways, the silhouettes are accented with Don C’s signature wild animal prints.

The “Metal” pack boasts three more distinct ERX 260s in contrasting color palettes inspired by the glam metal era and 80s punk rock and pop genres. An assortment of multi-sized studs and distinct inflections adorn each sneaker and further elevate the silhouette through the lens of modern streetwear.

Additonally and most recognizably, the “CONS” logo print takes center stage on the tongue, lighting bolt graphics and multiple lace options. To keep it current, the Converse ERX boasts a renewed EVA midsole, while the upper – with all its panels — and rubber cupsole mirror the originals from the 1980s.

The collection will be available globally starting January 12 from converse.ca, Footlocker and Champs with apparel prices ranging from $45 CAD to $90 CAD, the ERX 260 at $140 CAD.
